Autumn Holiday Family Trail: Tiger Alert on Felsenegg
SZU Annual Puzzle Weeks – during the autumn holidays from the 3rd to the 18th of October 2026, families can join squirrel Bo on a new woodland adventure on Felsenegg, solving challenges and following the trail of a mysterious visitor.
A real tiger on Felsenegg? That’s the rumour doing the rounds when families arrive at the cable-car station in Adliswil during the annual SZU Puzzle Weeks. The woodland animals are spooked, everyone seems to have heard something, yet nobody can say exactly where the story began. Before heading up the mountain, children collect an activity bag containing a map, stickers and the new picture book Bo and the Tiger House. Then the cable car climbs to the Albis ridge and the investigation begins on the new family trail.
From Felsenegg, the route heads through the forest towards Baldern. Five activity stations keep the story moving, with new encounters and clues appearing along the way. Children help Bo get to the bottom of the tiger scare, working through the puzzles and adding stickers to their map as they go.

Solving the first mystery is only half the job. There’s now a mysterious visitor who needs somewhere to spend the night. Would Bo’s cosy squirrel drey do the trick? How about a nest high in the trees, or somewhere tucked away underground? As families move from one stop to the next, children explore the very different ways woodland animals make their homes, what each species needs to feel comfortable and how they prepare for winter.
The trail itself is part of the fun. Narrow woodland paths wind over roots and stones, with several barbecue spots along the route for anyone keen to pause the detective work for lunch. On the way back towards Felsenegg, the restaurant with playground offers another chance for a break before the final part of the mission.
Once all the puzzles are complete, families post the finished card into Bo’s letterbox for the prize draw. Later, back down at the valley station, they can also collect a small surprise as a reward. As for what really sparked all that talk of a tiger – that’s one secret best uncovered in the forest.

Tips for families: Bo’s Puzzle Weeks run from the 3rd to the 18th of October 2026 and are particularly well suited to children aged around four to seven. Allow about 90 minutes for the circular walk, or longer if you plan to stop for a barbecue or lunch at the restaurant.
